On Wednesday, May 10th, Milwaukee Beer Society will be trying an assortment of rye beers. These are beers that replace a significant portion of the barley with rye, giving the beer a distinct spiciness that is unique to the rye grain. While hoppy beers are a popular style to do this with, some breweries are experimenting with rye saisons, porters, sours, and other styles. We’ll be tasting a nice assortment of all.
Price: $10 (plus membership, a one-time $10 fee)
