February 10th marks the end of Fasching (essentially German Mardi Gras) and the beginning of the Lenten season. Monks back in the day would fast during Lent, drinking Doppelbocks as their main source of nutrition for 40 days. We’ll honor that tradition by getting our main source of nutrition from doppelbocks as well, if only for a few hours. Considered a “meal in a glass” for centuries, come find out why these strong, malty lagers are a favorite of many.
