On Wednesday, May 23, we’ll try our hand at sampling Pastry Stouts. If you’re wondering what in the world a pastry stout is, you’re not alone. While there’s no official definition, pastry stouts are beers that use special ingredients to give them a more dessert-like flavor. Coffee, vanilla beans, coconut, cinnamon, and cacao nibs are just a few of the common ingredients that give these beers a very unique set of flavors. Not familiar with pastry stouts? This will be the perfect opportunity to get to know them.
